Questions
& Answers with Joe Cardona - Producer / Director
Why do you think the original Café
con Leche connected so profoundly with its audience?
I think Café and Café 2
are unique in that they bridge the gaps between generations.
The subjects and personalities in both documentaries are reflections
of the community. Even now, several years since it premiered,
people still stop me to tell me how much the program meant
to them.
How is Café con Leche 2
different from the original program?
I think that Café was about a generation coming
to grips with its identity wheras Café 2 helps
to dispel some of the myths about the Cuban community by digging
deeper into events and conditions surrounding. |
