WPBT2’s Changing Seas Wins Coveted Emmy Award CONTACT: Changing Seas, a WPBT2 original production, received an Emmy Award in the Health Science and Environment category at the 34th Annual Suncoast Emmy Awards on Saturday, December 4th at the Westin Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale. The winning Changing Seas episode, Sentinels of the Seas, focuses on the impacts legacy contaminants are having on our bottlenose dolphin population. “These toxins are posing a serious threat to not only marine mammals, but humans as well,” says series producer Alexa Elliott.
