WPBT2/Kidvision Invites Kids And Families To Take Off CONTACT: **Interviews with Chris and Martin Kratt Available Upon Request July 5, 2011- Miami, FL–WPBT2/Kidvision welcomes Chris and Martin Kratt, renowned “creature adventurers”, zoologists and stars of the new PBS KIDS GO! series, Wild Kratts, as they bring “Tales from the Creature Trail with the Kratt Brothers” to Nova Southeastern University’s A Day for Children on Sunday, September 18, 2011. The intimate story times will be held at the Miniaci Theatre at the Nova Southeastern University’s main campus in Davie, FL at 1:00p.m and 3:00p.m. “Tales from the Creature Trail with the Kratt Brothers” features Chris and Martin Kratt as they share stories about their animal adventures, interact with the audience, and answer audience questions. Each story time is 30 minutes. Attendees can also enjoy the many activities being held throughout the A Day for Children event including free health care and education for children ages birth to 15 years. Free screenings for vision, medical, speech, behavior and dental, as well as physical and occupational therapy will be available. There will also be a variety of activities for children, including a bounce house, face painting, storybook characters, supervised sports activities, arts and crafts, games and food. Admission is free and open to the public. Chris Kratt and Martin Kratt have traveled the globe to learn about the world, experience wilderness and help creatures everywhere. The Kratts have developed and executive produced three acclaimed children’s television series: Kratts’ Creatures, Zoboomafoo with the Kratt Brothers and Kratt Bros. Be the Creature. In addition to starring in each of their own programs, the talented siblings write, direct and serve as wildlife cinematographers. The brothers’ newest series, Wild Kratts, takes the creature-based learning to new levels, as Martin and Chris appear as animated versions of themselves for the very first time. Wild Kratts presents age-appropriate science inspired by the natural abilities of the animals that the Kratt brothers – and young viewers – meet.
