Must be a solid planner, strong organizer and have a strong interest in local and state news. 5 years’ experience in TV production required with experience in all phases and techniques includinglive studio, field production and remotes; video editing and shooting. Ability to initiate/develop/write stories and conduct research. Sound judgment and adherence to journalistic standards. Degree with coursework in communications, journalism or video production required.

Regional Executive, New Business Development
WPBT2 seeks innovative individual to lead efforts to identify, develop and sign partnerships that drive new business revenue and business opportunities in support of WPBT2 and its mission.
Works collaboratively & strategically with President & CEO, executive staff and other fundraising professionals to identify, recruit, nurture and close large strategic partnership opportunities/revenue projects; creates and executes business plans to ensure strategic partnerships support the overall business goals of WPBT2; generates new forms of revenue which relate directly or indirectly to existing facilities and services, and devises marketing plans and materials to attract partners/clients. Negotiates complex transactions, including inbound & outbound licensing agreements, technology integration & development agreements, and sponsorship agreements. Coordinates strategic initiatives with select partners.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of six to 8 years experience and demonstrated experience in developing strategic partnerships with a focus on business development. Proven experience in prospecting, building and closing strategic partnerships. Demonstrated success in account management, communications and/or marketing.

Seeking candidates with experience in studio and/or field productions. WPBT2 provides students with an opportunity to combine work experience and professional development to enhance their formal education. Our program serves to reinforce and strengthen the students' personal values and career objectives through an improved understanding of themselves and the work environment. We provide practical work experience to balance the students' theoretical training and allow students to meet and learn from professionals in the field and develop a network of contacts. Areas of openings include, but are not limited to: Accounting, Engineering, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Interactive Media, Marketing, Production, and Programming.
To be considered for an internship students must be enrolled in college/university in which their coursework requires internship hours.
